It’s important to try to have tooth-friendly meals regularly. This, along with oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, can help you have a strong and healthy smile. So, please do your best to have smile-friendly meals as often as possible. To help you do so, our dentist, Dr. Jodi Funk, has some tips for you. It’s best to do the following things when you cook your meals:

-Include tooth-healthy foods: These tooth-healthy foods can be apples, carrots, cheese, yogurt, and other fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. These things clean the teeth, strengthen the tooth enamel, and strengthen the bones.

-Avoid sugary and acidic foods: These types of foods (like sweets, tomatoes, oranges, and more) can attack the teeth and cause cavities and erosion. It’s best to avoid these things so you can maintain a top-notch oral health and smile.

-Drink healthy beverages with your meal: These beverages include milk and water. It’s best to avoid drinking soda, fruit drinks, lemonade, and other sugary and acidic drinks.
